0.5.0 Beta Released







0.5.0 Released!
Now with video textures and the ability to record your shader to mp4 video. Take a look at the new included green screen shader in shaders/glm (see the cover image of this post for what it looks like in action).
Another minor but helpful feature added is a VSYNC toggle (also a startup preference). This helps for shaders that are stable at 60 or whatever your refresh rate is. By turning VSYNC off and increasing the shader FPS cap (up to 1000) you can actually see A, how fast your shader really is, and B, the perf impact of your changes when it goes from 200 to 150 or 200 to 250, whereas before it would all have been the same 60.
Additionally, Zig is now bundled with the windows package so you can use it to build shaders out of the box with no extra downloads/installs needed.

Lots more misc small changes and fixes made it in of course but those are the highlights.
